Quite tasty, affordable prices!

Everything fresh and delicious. to be recommended again and again. Today there was lamb fillet. And dining outside in the beer garden is really very pleasant. The ladies are still as friendly as before, even in Corona times. And very attentive, when it gets a little colder outside, we are offered a blanket.

As always, a very good meal and a great cappuccino.

My parents have been visiting this place for many many years. You know the owners and their extremely delicious dishes long before they moved to Fröndenberger Straße (I'm not sure about the 70s and 80s). I have been eating there since I was little and always thought it was super delicious ... Food prepared with passion and you can taste it. The next generation of the Tsolis family has been running the restaurant for some time, but nothing has changed in ambience and taste; still amazing. I am now in my mid-30s and have already taken countless friends and acquaintances with me to dine there with me ... Everyone was enthusiastic and has already gone there myself ... Such hospitality and dedication are rarely seen today ... Me celebrate every visit! If you don't eat anything in the Athens restaurant you missed something! So reserve, find and enjoy friends. Yamas. The meat was too dry for all of us (4 people with 4 different dishes), didn't taste like anything. I hoped for more ...

The food was as always delicious. We sat outside on the new terrace in beautiful weather. It's great that there is such a restaurant in Menden.

Service was very friendly, but the food was hardly recommended. The side dishes, appetizer and spices were okay, but unfortunately the meat had nothing to do with gastronomy quality, moreover it was a bit burnt. The gyros were very greasy and the souvlaki was unfortunately tough and overgrown. Two stars for the service and the "all around", on the (meat) quality should be urgently worked.

Good food, good Portions but you can only pay with cash! apart from that I would recomend and it's right next to the Come in hotel.

My longtime girlfriend and I wanted to go to a good restaurant for her birthday. Our criteria were: good food, upscale but cozy atmosphere, possibly dine outside and be appreciated as a guest. Athens was our first choice, although I did not have the pleasure there yet. Upon entering, I was very impressed by the different areas of the dining rooms. Very comfortable and very appealing. The rear area includes a kind of conservatory and behind a very pretty, Mediterranean-looking terrace. Perfect for the warm evening. Very pleasant were the service and the boss personally. Our wishes were met and the food was served visually and tastefully.

The Athens is a great Greek restaurant in Menden. The map is extensive, but not confusing. Delicious starters (olives, sheep's cheese, taramas) and great main courses. Very tasty gyros. Fast, attentive and very friendly service. You really don't have to wait here until the nice employees come to your table. Then everything happens very quickly. There is a card for the little ones with pictures so that the young guests can choose what they want to eat based on the pictures. Good idea. Generally you are very friendly to children. I would describe the ambience as cozy. It is rustic, subtly decorated and stylish. The restaurant is well attended and a reservation in advance is recommended. The price / performance ratio is top. The portions are large (adults), so it is highly recommended not to eat for a few hours in advance. Parking on the street is not a problem, because there is enough space. The restaurant is very suitable for company Christmas parties and is very popular in your area! A clear recommendation for people who want to enjoy good Greek food and also want to go out with friends. A clear asset for Menden! Gladly again and until next time in Athens in Menden!

Restaurants is very good but food is not like to our choise. And they don't value customer. You can't chose your own seat. You have to seat according to them. Which is not good.

Everything here is amazing. Get the mascarpone cream and you'll be back again. The staff is also very friendly and funny. I love this restaurant.
